What a great time it will be! Want to shop the Kentucky Kids Consignment Sale taking place at the Pritchard Community Center, but it’s too difficult to take the children along? Then this event is for you!

We welcome all moms, dads, grandmas, aunts, uncles and others with little ones at home to bring their children to Memorial UMC while you shop the 2015 Kentucky Kids Consignment Sale. Memorial UMC will provide a safe & fun environment for your children – along with crafts and snacks (all for FREE!) All children 10 and under (along with infants) are invited to this wonderful event taking place right here in our community.

**Memorial UMC is a Safe-Sanctuaries Child Safe Zone. All adults that will be around the children have had background checks within the last year**

LIMITED RESERVATIONS! You must pre-register for this FREE event. MUMC can only accept a maximum number of children, so hurry and get registered!

This event is open to the public and we welcome you to attend. MUMC’s Fall-O-Ween event is taking place on Thursday, September 24th from 9am – 12pm. And also again on Friday, September 25th from 6pm – 8pm. Thursday the children will have a fun craft to work on, along with donuts and juice.

Happy Days in Radcliff

Freedoms Way, Radcliff, KY

The theme is “ Happy Days in Radcliff” and features 50-60’s era bands, a parade down Dixie Highway , The Radcliff Artisan Market, a Food Truck Caravan , a Seniors event on Friday and finally a gospel sing in Radcliff North Park on Sunday.

Although the main event kicks off on Saturday with parade down Dixie Highway, the weekend is filled with activities to celebrate the founding of our city in 1956.

Make it even more fun by dressing in the attire of that era and dancing the night away with one of the area’s leading oldies band.

59th Annual St. James Art Show


Join us as we travel to the heart of historic Old Louisville for the 59th annual St. James Court Art Show. There will be a tasteful selection of high quality original works including paintings, sculpture, pottery, leather and woodcrafts, photography, textiles, glass art and other fine arts.

Whether you are new to the area or you just moved here, this is the fall event you do not want to miss if you enjoy seeing a lot of vendors in one location, the taste of great foods, and a feel of small town America enjoying a delightful Saturday afternoon. filled with fun.

Be sure and come to Glendale and get in place because the parade starts at 10am. During the parade you will be able to enjoy a huge assortment of floats, cars, old tractors and everything else that makes a parade special!

This festival began in 1976 as the Glendale Community Festival, and was part of the United States celebration of its’ 200th birthday. The Glendale Crossing Festival is always held the third Saturday in October.

Contact person for the “official” Crossing Festival booths is Sheree Vance, 270-369-6188. Several local merchants, churches and individuals also rent booth spaces for the event.


Be sure and stop at The Whistle Stop for AMAZING food while you are there if you want to have a truly awesome dining experience!

Parking – When you get to the general area of the festival, you’ll see that parking is about everywhere and you pretty much want to park where you can find a spot! Trust me, you’ll get out of your car, and just start following the crowd!  See you there!

2015 Glendale Backyard BBQ Competition

Come try some of the best BBQ at the Glendale Backyard BBQ Competition! Craft Vendors and lots more for the whole family. Come out for a great time and great food!

People’s choice tasting starts a 1:00 pm. Craft vendors will be open to public on Saturday morning and Bama Boy BBQ will be serving pulled pork sandwiches along with grilled hamburgers and hotdogs starting at 10:00am. Come and enjoy the day with some good food and good friends!

The theme of this year’s event is an “Old Fashion July 4th” where attendees have the opportunity to participate in sack races, Shoney’s pie eating contest, horseshoe tournament, and cake/bake walk. The cake/bake walk will have pies and cakes donated by Back Home restaurant, Barbara Proffitt, and City staff.

The event is free to the public and there will be pony rides and face painting available for the kids. Food vendors will be selling food items such as barbeque, chicken, hamburgers, hot dogs, pork sandwiches, lemonade, and ice cream.

Many other great fun events to look forward to!

FIREWORKS AT DARK (Hint: Last year the fireworks were about 945pm. Pretty much once it gets completely dark get ready to enjoy!)
